Meet our Educators and Partners

Juanita Ransome is a dedicated multi-subject tutor serving students from K–12 through college-level coursework. She designs personalized daily lesson plans to meet each learner at their current level, promoting growth toward academic mastery. Juanita also monitors behavior, engagement, and learning outcomes to inform her approach. She offers in-person and virtual tutoring at locations that promote a productive learning environment, including homes, libraries, and schools. Parents receive regular progress updates to stay involved in the student’s academic journey.

Crown Your Emotions Counseling Services provides trauma-informed counseling and coaching to teens, individuals, and families. Their mission is to foster emotional resilience and holistic well-being through creative, evidence-based strategies and culturally responsive care. They support clients in navigating emotional challenges while building sustainable pathways to mental wellness and social-emotional growth. Website

Pivotal Connections is a leadership and personal development firm that supports youth and families through coaching and training. For STREAM 180, Pivotal Connections will lead a 4-week leadership development and self-awareness cohort, helping youth discover their strengths, improve confidence, and learn positive decision-making skills that impact school, relationships, and future aspirations. Website

Greater Wealth Works, home of the SBA-funded Women’s Business Center, empowers aspiring entrepreneurs with skills in business development and financial literacy. For STREAM 180, the Center helps youth explore entrepreneurship, conduct small business feasibility studies, and apply math concepts to budgeting, payroll, and money management in hands-on learning labs. eGhana Volunteers Academy empowers rural Ghanaian communities through education, workforce development, and sustainable practices. The organization promotes STEM and water access through collaborative projects with local schools. For STREAM 180, eGhana connects students to peers in Ghana to explore engineering and technology-based solutions for safe water access in the Oti and Volta regions. Website

Bertha Haus is a center for Jewish heritage located in Dortmund, Germany. It was established in honor of Bertha Wolf, a Holocaust victim whose life and legacy now serve as a  reminder for tolerance, understanding, and the preservation of Jewish history. STREAM 180 participants will work with the Bertha Haus to explore cultural identity, historical reflection, and creative expression.

Capture the Nations is a mission-driven nonprofit that empowers under-resourced women internationally through vocational training, microenterprise support, and discipleship. As STREAM 180’s “Engineering” partner, Capture the Nations provides real-world challenges that allow youth to design and propose engineering solutions that address global issues—bridging classroom learning with real-world application. Talents of Our Generation (TOG) is metro Atlanta, GA nonprofit that supports justice-involved youth through trauma-informed, arts-based programming. TOG supports youth in detention centers and  post-release with mentorship, therapy, and SEL workshops. As part of STREAM 180, TOG will provide Art Therapy on Thursdays, including delivery of its 12-week “Power Within” social-emotional learning (SEL) series.  Website

S.M.A.R.T. (Single Mothers of America Resource Team) is a metro Atlanta nonprofit focused on empowering single-parent families through tutoring, mentoring, and life-skills programs. For STREAM 180, S.M.A.R.T. facilitates a virtual international book club and literacy exchange between Georgia students and youth in Dubai and Nigeria, emphasizing global awareness and reading comprehension. The Promised Child (TPC) is an international nonprofit with offices in Florida and Monrovia, Liberia. TPC provides education and agricultural solutions to address literacy, food insecurity, and poverty in underserved Liberian communities. For STREAM 180, TPC connects youth in Georgia to youth in Liberia through cross-cultural enrichment activities focused on agriculture as a sustainable pathway to economic self-sufficiency.

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Paulding County (CASA Paulding). A CASA is a trained community volunteer appointed by a judge to advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care system who have experienced abuse or neglect. They investigate a child’s situation and make recommendations to the judge to ensure the child’s needs for stability and a safe future are met.  STREAM 180 Partners with CASA for youth referrals. Website

Abagail Joy Enterprises offers spirit-led, trauma-informed care that guides youth and women from emotional pain to personal transformation. Through workshops and individual coaching, the agency helps STREAM 180 participants develop emotional intelligence, identity awareness, and purpose-driven mindset.

SBC Properties LLC provides STREAM 180 youth with exposure to real estate investing and entrepreneurship through hands-on training, mentorship, and financial literacy. Their curriculum introduces students to property analysis, market research, and the fundamentals of running a business—fostering leadership, teamwork, and long-term vision. Website

Quriosity Counseling Services offers trauma-informed mental health support to children, teens, and families. As a STREAM 180 partner, Quriosity will facilitate group therapy circles focused on emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and mental wellness. Led by a licensed therapist, these sessions provide youth with tools to cope with trauma, manage stress, and build healthy peer relationships. Website

Healed Identity is a trauma-informed, faith-based counseling program that guides individuals toward emotional healing and self-discovery. As a STREAM 180 partner, Healed Identity contributes spiritual wellness workshops, identity-focused coaching, and therapeutic guidance for youth navigating trauma, loss, and self-esteem challenges.

Georgia Restorative Pathways is a nonprofit reentry and housing organization working to reduce recidivism and improve public safety in Bartow and Cherokee Counties. They connect justice-involved individuals to housing, employment, education, and wellness services. As a STREAM 180 referral partner, GRP connects eligible youth impacted by the juvenile justice system to program opportunities. Website

The Satisfied Woman’s Ministry inspires young girls and women to grow in confidence and purpose. Their workshops focus on biblical values, emotional intelligence, mindset development, effective communication, and self-management. Participants gain practical life skills and etiquette training that contribute to success in both personal and professional settings.

Dewlyn Nonprofit Services is a metro Atlanta firm that provides training, technical assistance, grant-writing, and consulting for nonprofit organizations anywhere in the U.S. Aa a partner of STREAM 180, Dewlyn Nonprofit Services provides pro bono consultation and acts as a bridge for partner development.
